Teaching

Teaching students and showing them how relatable economics is to their everyday lives is a task I sincerely enjoy doing. Passing on my enthusiasm for the subject enthusiastically to students is something I find very rewarding and fulfilling. When I teach, I enjoy using my personal and professional experiences to ground the concepts I relay to students. I aim to teach classes in a way that not only prepare students for potentially more advanced work in economics, but also in a way that convey skills that will be important in the working world.

The classes I have taught so far are Intermediate Microeconomics, Principles of Economics, and Development Economics. In the future I aim to teach a class on Poverty and Policy Analysis, as well as a class within the realm of experimental economics. You can see a sample syllabus from one of my classes here.
